The SkyttelPASS tag is an AutoPASS-approved toll tag/transponder used in all AutoPASS toll points on roads, bridges and tunnels in Norway.
The tag is also used on almost every Norwegian ferry connection, which includes all ferries in the AutoPASS for ferry scheme and Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten.
Create a tag agreement with SkyttelPASS
How to create a PRIVATE or BUSINESS agreement:
- Click on “CREATE AGREEMENT”
- Enter your mobile number and verify your identity with a code received via SMS
- Fill in the electronic form
- Accept terms and conditions
- Submit the electronic form and receive your tag/tags by post. The tag has a one-time payment of NOK 200 and can be reused if you change your vehicle. Your agreement becomes active within 30 minutes, and the vehicle registration number will be read until you have received and installed the tag.

Frequently asked questions
What happens after I have created my SkyttelPASS agreement?
Here's what you do:
1. Terminate your previous tag agreement (can be done 30 minutes after you have created your new agreement)
2. Remove the previous tag from the vehicle before driving
3. Update any additional agreements or HC card-agreement with the new tag number https://skyttelpass.no/en/additional-agreements-and-more/
Your new SkyttelPASS agreement will be active in the AutoPASS systems within 30 minutes. After this, the quickest way to terminate your previous agreement is to log in to your former customer page and terminate it there.
By quickly terminating your previous agreement and removing the previous tag from the vehicle, you ensure that the license plate and the old tag are no longer active on the old agreement, and that all road toll charges, hourly rules and monthly caps are registered on your new agreement.
Until you receive and install your new tag in the vehicle, charges for roads, bridges, tunnels, and ferries will be registered and provide every discount by reading the license plate number and linking it to your tag agreement.
If you have additional agreements for ferries and/or bridges, you can easily change your tag number in these agreements by logging in to them. The tag number can be registered in the additional agreements 30 minutes after you have created your SkyttelPASS agreement.
You will find your new tag number on My Page and in the email you receive from us shortly after you have created your SkyttelPASS agreement.
HC card:
Contact one of the road toll companies (it doesn't matter which one, but many choose the one they contacted last time) with copies of both the front and back of the HC card, as well as your new tag agreement and tag number. The road toll company's update will automatically apply to all road toll companies throughout Norway.

How do I switch my current tag agreement to SkyttelPASS?
Switch to SkyttelPASS in three simple steps:
- Create a tag agreement with SkyttelPASS and add all the vehicles you want to register.* Upon creating an agreement, you will quickly be assigned a new tag number for each vehicle.
- Contact your former tag issuer and cancel your tag agreement with them. Within half an hour of creating your agreement with SkyttelPASS, your new tag number will be active and linked to your licence plate number in the AutoPASS systems. Until you receive your new tag, the license plate number will be read and connected to your SkyttelPASS agreement for discounts.
- If you have an additional agreement with, for example, AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement, Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten, the Øresund Bridge or the Great Belt Bridge, all you need to do is change the tag number in your agreements with them, and they will function as usual.

How do I install the tag in my car?
- Attach the tag to the tag holder provided
- Wipe and dry thoroughly the correct windscreen area for attachment
- Remove the tape guard on the tag holder
- Press the tag holder firmly against the inside of the windscreen for 10 seconds
Do I have to pay a monthly tag fee?
SkyttelPASS does not have a monthly tag fee.
What does a SkyttelPASS toll tag cost?
A SkyttelPASS tag has a one-time cost of NOK 200.
You can reuse the same tag by registering it to a different vehicle on your SkyttelPASS agreement.
