Prices, discounts and payments

With vehicles up to 3500 kg and in group M1, you receive a 20% discount in all toll road points and toll rings areas on roads, bridges and tunnels in Norway.

For more information, see autopass.no

Motorcycles, mopeds and ATVs registered as quad bikes are exempt from payment at toll points and toll ring areas in Norway and do not need a tag.

ATVs registered as a tractor are not exempt and must have a valid AutoPASS tag agreement such as SkyttelPASS to receive a discount.

With a valid AutoPASS approved tag and agreement such as SkyttelPASS, electric cars, hydrogen cars and other zero-emission vehicles receive a larger discount than diesel and petrol vehicles do at all toll road points and toll ring areas in Norway.

Zero-emission vehicles also receive a larger discount on all ferry connections in Norway that accept an AutoPASS approved tag as a means of payment. Without a valid agreement, zero-emission vehicles must pay the ordinary rate.

For more information on prices, see autopass.no.

For bigger discounts on ferries, create an additional agreement with AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement and/or Bastø Fosen.

With a motorhome or other type of vehicle in group M1, you pay rate 1 and get the 20% discount even if the vehicle weighs more than 3500kg. This presupposes that the vehicle has a valid AutoPASS approved tag and agreement, such as SkyttelPASS.

The hourly discount (also known as the hourly rule) applies at toll road points and toll ring areas that offer this. Provided you are in the same vehicle, you will only be charged once within every 60 minutes for passing by the same toll road point or driving in the same toll ring area.

To see which rules apply at individual toll road points and toll ring areas, visit autopass.no.

At some toll points and toll ring areas, you are only charged a maximum number of times that you have passed by a particular toll point or toll points within a toll ring area per vehicle per calendar month. A monthly cap is mainly offered in toll ring areas.

To see which rules and caps apply where, visit autopass.no.

Some toll ring areas have introduced a rush hour fee. This means you pay an extra fee if you pass toll road points within a toll ring area during certain times of the day, such as during morning rush hour or afternoon rush hour.
Provided you have a valid tag agreement, your discount remains the same during rush hour.

With and without an AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement
Without an AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement, you will receive a 10% AutoPASS discount on journeys with all ferry connections in the AutoPASS for ferry scheme that accept payment via tag.
By creating and registering your tag in the additional AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement, you will receive a 40-50% discount.

With and without a Bastø Fosen agreement
Without a Bastø Fosen agreement, you will receive a 10% discount on journeys with Bastø Fosen between Moss – Horten.
By creating and registering your tag in the additional Bastø Fosen agreement, you will receive a 30% discount.

If you do not have an AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement and/or Bastø Fosen agreement, your ferry journeys will be settled in your SkyttelPASS agreement and you will receive toll road charges and ferry journeys on the same invoice.

If you have the additional AutoPASS for the ferry prepayment agreement and/or Bastø Fosen agreement, all your ferry journeys that are charged using the SkyttelPASS tag will be settled in the relevant additional agreement.

SkyttelPASS wishes to protect the environment and offers electronic invoicing and payment options.

Email: When you create a SkyttelPASS agreement, you will automatically receive your invoices by email. If you have a Norwegian online bank account and choose to pay via eFaktura or AvtaleGiro, you will no longer receive your SkyttelPASS invoices by email.

eFaktura (electronic invoicing): For this payment option, you must have a Norwegian online bank account. We remind you of the new Norwegian online banking solution for eFaktura, which is as follows: To create an eFaktura agreement, you must already have activated the general function “eFaktura – yes to all” in your online bank account. You will then receive all your invoices from SkyttelPASS electronically, including the first invoice. Contact your bank if you have questions about this function or want to know if it has been activated correctly. In your online bank account, you can at any time choose to stop receiving eFaktura from SkyttelPASS.

AvtaleGiro: For this payment option, you must have a Norwegian online bank account. When paying a SkyttelPASS invoice, you can choose to pay your future invoices from SkyttelPASS via AvtaleGiro. If you need a KID number, you will find one on a received invoice. Because AvtaleGiro deducts the invoiced amount directly from your account, you will not receive invoices to your online bank account or email. You can view all your invoices on My Page. It is not possible to have both AvtaleGiro and eFaktura at the same time.

Payment card: If you want to pay by credit- or debit card, you can register your card on My Page. If toll road charges or ferry journeys have been made, your card will automatically be charged once a week.

NB: If you use a payment card that is registered to a business, the Nets payment solution will add a fee of 2% of the total amount and a one-time fee of NOK 0.50 per payment.

Vipps: If you have an eFaktura agreement with SkyttelPASS and have chosen to receive invoices via the Vipps app, your eFaktura will automatically arrive in Vipps.

My Page: You can view all your invoices and payment information on My Page.
