Toll road discounts with the SkyttelPASS tag
With vehicles up to 3500 kg or in group M1, you will receive a 20% discount at all AutoPASS toll road points and toll ring areas on roads, bridges, and tunnels in Norway.

Ferry discounts with the SkyttelPASS tag
AutoPASS for ferry
With an AutoPASS-approved tag agreement such as SkyttelPASS, you receive a 10% discount on journeys with all ferry connections in the AutoPASS for ferry scheme. For an overview of the ferry connections, click here.
Additional agreement with AutoPASS for ferry
By creating the additional AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement, you will receive a 40-50% discount instead.
Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten
With an AutoPASS-approved tag agreement such as SkyttelPASS, you receive a 10% discount on all journeys with Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten connection.
Additional agreement with Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten
By creating the additional Torghatten Sør Moss-Horten agreement, you will receive a 30% discount instead.
Motorcycles, mopeds and ATVs
Motorcycles, mopeds and ATVs registered as quad bikes are exempt from payment at toll road points and toll ring areas in Norway and do not need a tag.
ATVs registered as tractors are not exempt. To receive a discount, they must have a valid AutoPASS tag agreement, such as SkyttelPASS.
Electric cars and other zero-emission vehicles
Electric cars and other zero-emission vehicles have reduced prices at all toll road points and on most ferries in Norway, called the ordinary electric car rate.
To receive AutoPASS discounts in addition to the ordinary electric car rate, electric cars and zero-emission vehicles must have a valid AutoPASS-approved tag agreement, such as the SkyttelPASS agreement.
To receive additional discounts on ferries (on top of the ordinary electric car rate and AutoPASS-approved tag discount), you can create additional agreements for ferries.
RVs, motorhomes and other types of vehicles in group M1
If you drive a motorhome or other type of vehicle in group M1 and have a valid AutoPASS-approved tag such as the SkyttelPASS tag, you qualify for the same rate as vehicles under 3500 kg and receive the same discounts.
Hourly discount (hourly rule)
An hourly discount (also known as the hourly rule) applies at toll road points and toll ring areas that offer this. Provided you are in the same vehicle, you will only be charged once within a certain time frame (in most places 60 minutes) for passing the same toll road point or driving in the same toll ring area.
Monthly caps
At some toll road points and toll ring areas, you will only be charged a maximum number of times per vehicle per calendar month. A monthly cap is mainly offered in toll ring areas.
Rush hour fee
Some toll ring areas have introduced a rush hour fee.
Tag discounts remain the same during rush hour.

Do I get an hourly discount and monthly cap, and must I pay a rush hour fee?
- It is no longer a requirement to have a tag to get an hourly discount.
- With a tag, you get a monthly cap in the toll ring areas that offer this.
- You must pay a rush hour fee whether you have a tag or not. With a tag, you get a 20% discount on the rush hour fee.

Is there VAT on tolls road charges and ferry journeys in Norway, and on the Øresund connection and Storebælt connection?
- There is no VAT on toll road charges in Norway.
- On ferry journeys in Norway, VAT is included in the price.
- On the Øresund connection between Sweden and Denmark, and the Storebælt connection in Denmark, VAT is included in the price.
The Storebælt connection is also known as the Great Belt Fixed Link.
