How do I know if the battery is dead / the tag is not working?
The fastest way to find out whether the battery in your toll tag is working is to log in to My Page.
Under «Toll road and ferry charges», check «Only transactions via photo», and you will see which charges have been made via license plate photo instead of via electronic registration of the tag.
If you only have transactions via photo, it means the battery is dead or the tag is not working for some other reason. It is also possible that the equipment at a toll road point has not functioned properly.
Other reasons for only having transactions via photo may include the tag not being correctly mounted to the windshield or not being in the vehicle at all. It may be a good idea to double-check.
Our customer centre can check whether messages have been received in transactions from toll road points, where the signal from the battery is weak or gone, and thus will also be able to notify the customer when we suspect that a tag needs to be replaced.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with our customer centre at 55300010 or post@skyttelpass.no
Can the tag be reused or recycled?
The tag can be reused by registering it to a new vehicle in your agreement. Simply visit My Page and follow the instructions under “Vehicles”.
Tags you no longer wish to use must be recycled as EE waste.
