How do I add vehicles to an existing agreement?

On both private and business agreements, you can register an unlimited number of vehicles.


To add a vehicle, log in to My Page. In the menu on the left, select “Vehicle” and “Add new vehicle”. Enter the registration number of the vehicle you want to add and the country in which the vehicle is registered, then press «Add».


For each vehicle added to the agreement, you will receive a SkyttelPASS tag by post (unless you transfer or reuse an existing SkyttelPASS tag).


Each tag sent has a one-time fee of 200 kroner.

How do I register a personalised license plate on my agreement?

Due to problems with automatic reading of personalised license plates, there is a requirement that the owner must have a tag with a valid tag agreement such as SkyttelPASS in the vehicle.


In your agreement, you must therefore register the vehicle’s original licence plate number, not the personalised license plate.

How do I remove a vehicle or tag from the agreement?

The easiest way to remove a vehicle from your agreement is via My Page under “Vehicle” → “Change” → “Remove”. The vehicle’s registration number and tag will then be terminated on the agreement, and the tag will no longer work in any additional agreements.


The customer is legally responsible for paying all road toll charges and ferry journeys as long as the vehicle is on the customer's agreement, no matter who owns or drives the vehicle.


TIP: When terminating a vehicle on the agreement, the tag becomes inactive. If you want to add another vehicle to the agreement, you can transfer the tag from the old vehicle to the new vehicle before removing the old one. Also remember to update the information in any additional agreements.


Inactive tags can be kept for future use on the agreement.


Tags that you no longer want to use are recycled as EE waste.

I am selling or wrecking a vehicle; what do I do?

As the agreement’s owner, you are responsible for removing the vehicle from your SkyttelPASS agreement. It is recommended that you use My Page to remove your vehicle to prevent road tolls and ferry journeys being charged to your agreement after the vehicle has been sold.


Remember to also update your vehicle information in any additional agreements.


Remember that:


  • It is always the owner of the agreement that the vehicle is registered to, not the vehicle’s new owner, who is legally responsible for paying toll road charges and ferry journeys made while the vehicle is still registered to the agreement.
  • It is not enough to take the tag out of the vehicle. If the vehicle is still active in the agreement, photos of the vehicle’s registration number will be taken instead and road tolls and ferry journeys thus charged to your agreement.

The tag/license plate/vehicle has been lost or stolen; what do I do?

Log in to My Page as soon as possible and remove the vehicle from the agreement under “Vehicle” → “Change” → “Remove”. The tag and the vehicle’s registration number will then be inactive.


In the event of a stolen tag and a claim for reimbursement, the matter must be reported to the police. Send a message to our customer support centre with a copy of the police report.


NB: The inactive tag will no longer work in any additional agreements.
