This privacy policy applies to SkyttelPASS AS. The purpose of this policy is to inform the user why we process personal data, which data we process, who is responsible for our processing, how we safeguard user privacy and what statutory rights a registered user has regarding personal data.
The policy applies to the use of our products and services, as well as visits to our website.
The purpose of processing personal data
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has, on assignment from the Ministry of Transport, approved SkyttelPASS as a tag issuer. SkyttelPASS processes personal data for the purposes of toll collection on the public road network in Norway and carrying out electronic ticketing through the AutoPASS Cooperative in public ferry operations as per the Issuer Regulations § 20 and § 6. In connection with toll collection, SkyttelPASS processes the personal data needed to implement the user agreement with the individual user in accordance with § 15.
Responsibility for processing at SkyttelPASS
The CEO of SkyttelPASS is responsible for ensuring that the company’s processing of personal data happens in accordance with current laws and regulations.
Registered data
If you have a SkyttelPASS agreement and are charged via a SkyttelPASS tag, we use the data you have provided us, such as name, address, date of birth and vehicle registration number.
To carry out efficient toll collection, we register payments, payment history, invoice history and information related to customer inquiries. SkyttelPASS receives and processes toll transactions that contain the vehicle registration number, price of toll charged, time, place, vehicle weight and tag number.
Exchange of personal data
The following personal data can be received from the operator and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration:
a. identification number for electronic tag
b. place, date and time of toll charge
c. price category and price of toll charged
d. vehicle registration number
e. picture of the vehicle
f. registered owner in the Motor Vehicle Registry
SkyttelPASS may disclose data about the user’s vehicle and user agreement, including personal data, to the operator and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration to the extent that is necessary to:
a. determine the correct price
b. process inquiries from the user
c. transfer responsibility for the payment to the tag issuer as per the Issuer Regulations § 6.
In cases where a user agreement is transferred from one tag issuer to another, the personal data necessary to implement the user agreement may be provided.
In our work of collecting tolls, fulfilling contract terms and conditions, offering a website and self-service solutions, SkyttelPASS uses subcontractors and partners. These will be able to process your personal data on behalf of SkyttelPASS. To ensure that your personal data is not used for purposes other than those described above, SkyttelPASS enters data processor agreements with all its subcontractors and partners.
In some instances, we are required by law to disclose your personal information, for example to the police or tax authorities.
Email and phone
SkyttelPASS uses email and telephone for customer inquiries.
SkyttelPASS uses Pureservice as an email platform. Inquiries via email or the contact form on our customer service webpage are stored and processed in the Pureservice solution.
We remind you that regular email is unencrypted. Therefore, we encourage you not to send classified, sensitive or other confidential information via email.
Telephone calls (telephone numbers to and from, time and length of the call) are logged in our telephone system provided by Zisson AS. This log is necessary for the administration and operation of the system and is used as a basis for statistics at the aggregate level. If a telephone conversation is linked to an individual case, a written note may be saved electronically after the conversation. No other systematic registration of telephone calls is made in which the caller can be identified.
Cookies
We do not use cookies on our website. In connection with creating a new agreement, we will temporarily store data in your session, but this data will disappear after a short time if you terminate the registration process.
Should any other data be collected, we will inform you of this and require your consent. You will then receive specific information about what information we collect and what it may be used for.

Safeguarding of personal data
Access to personal data is only provided to persons with work tasks that require this. All employees have signed a declaration of confidentiality. All systems have access control with personal ID and password. All changes and actions are traceable.
Your rights as a customer
As a customer, you have the right to know what data we have stored about you as well as the right to request that your personal data be corrected, provided to you or deleted from our systems.
Deletion of information is under the condition that this does not conflict with other legislation, such as the Accounting Act.
Accounting data such as toll charges (transaction data in connection with ferry travel) and invoices, etc., are stored in accordance with the Accounting Act.
As a customer, you have the right to basic information regarding personal data processing in a business, as per the Personal Data Act § 18, 1.
